JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Danny Ferguson hit a two-run go-ahead single in the bottom of the fifth inning to vault the Ohio Valley Regional Champions over New England 2-1 in the opening game of pool play in the 13-Year-Old Babe Ruth World Series on Saturday afternoon at Diethrick Park.
Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Ohio Valley's (Youngstown, Ohio) Danny Marker was brought in to pinch hit and doubled down the right field line.
