Cameron Frost was the star for the Pacific Northwest, going 3-for-4 at the plate and also earning the win on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings, allowing only one hit and no earned runs while also striking out three.
Jake Biscay was 2-for-4 with two doubles and Max Stottlemyer and Cobi Beal each contributed two hits for the Pacific Northwest.
Nick Pilotti hit a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh for Western New York, his second homer of the series.
The Pacific Northwest will play its final pool play game against New England at noon on Wednesday. Western New York has been eliminated from the World Series.
